Carissa Shivers is passionate about helping individuals and families create customized retirement strategies that help to protect and grow their hard-earned assets and to provide their desired lifetime income.

Carissa got her start in the financial services industry after completing an extensive financial advisor career development program. Before joining PGI, she worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones for several years.

Born and raised in Vermont, Carissa graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Carissa moved to Charleston in early 2018 and soon after adopted her yellow Lab named Beau. In 2021, she met her now-husband, Aubrey, and the pair were married in 2023. Together in their free time, they enjoy golfing, weekend trips and spending time with family and friends.
