Carissa Shivers is passionate about helping individuals and families create customized retirement strategies that may help preserve and grow the protection and growth of their hard-earned assets.

Carissa got her start in the financial services industry after completing an extensive financial advisor career development program. Before joining PGI, she worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones for more than three years.

Born and raised in Vermont, Carissa graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Carissa moved to Charleston in early 2018 and soon after adopted a yellow Lab named Beau. In 2021, she met her future husband, Aubrey, and the pair were married in 2023. Together in their free time, they enjoy golfing and spending weekends hiking in the mountains.
